A hatha or restorative yoga class offers basic breathing techniques that go a long way toward liberating the mind and body from the heavy burden of the ego but when a student of yoga is ready to really delve into the unconscious mind and look squarely at the psychological, emotional and physical cutter that have been stored there for many years, more advanced breathing techniques are employed. Pranic Breathing™ There are many advanced breathing techniques available, but not all of those techniques are suited for our western lifestyles. So I developed a techniqe called Pranic Breathing™ which is rooted in ancient yogic practice but modified for the modern yogi. This powerful yet simple technique greatly increasing the amount of oxygen circulating in the blood and the amount prana (life energy) moving through the energy body to release deeply held bocks and age old patterns (samskaras). To learn more about Pranic Breathing™, I recommend you read this informative article written by me. If you would like to become certified to teach Pranic Breathing™, you can learn more about The Pranayama Intensive here.
